Three screens of the redesigned Hashmonaim app: loading, main menu and classes

How did I rebrand the club?

In 2019 the club asked me to refresh its brand. The old logo used a rounded typeface that felt more like ice cream than a gym. I redrew it in a clean wellness style, kept the yellow from the interior design of the space and gave it more energy. The last twist is the letter A in the middle, made of a circle and lines that suggest a person exercising.

How did I redesign the app?

I then redesigned the signup and classes app. The yellow was too bright for a mobile screen, so I moved to a dark background and used yellow for emphasis. The loading screen became a branded logo instead of a generic photo, the main menu got branded icons in place of a small logo and generic ones, the long class menu became a simple icon list, and the about page now has readable text.

What else did I make?

Around the app I made animations for the lobby screens, a story animation for the second birthday, a Purim lobby animation, a walking day invitation, and the printed schedules for adult and kids classes.
